Founder · Rental facilitator · Local coordinator
Hello, I'm Larry Strawson.
I created Kiraoba to make monthly and long-term renting in Batumi clearer, more accountable, and more personal. I remain directly involved between renters, landlords, and agents from the first serious application through the viewing and agreement process.
9 years in Batumi, Georgia
Why Kiraoba exists
A rental should not begin with uncertainty.
My background is in Batumi and Georgian real estate, including helping international clients understand properties and the Black Sea market. The same problems appear repeatedly in rentals: outdated listings, unclear ownership, incomplete property details, informal agreements, and conversations that disappear once people meet.
Kiraoba is my answer to those problems. Listings are reviewed, communications are mediated, viewing introductions are recorded, and rental documents are prepared from the information supplied by both parties.
What I personally mediate
Kiraoba is not an anonymous notice board. The operator stays visible throughout the transaction.
Review landlord and property submissions before publication
Keep pre-contract renter communication with Kiraoba
Coordinate protected viewings and record each party’s outcome
Prepare the agreement draft and monitor both reviews
Accountability should continue after move-in.
Kiraoba's review system is designed to reward accurate listings, responsible landlords, and reliable tenants—not simply to collect star ratings. Reviews are requested after a completed or manually ended lease and moderated before publication, helping keep them connected to real rental experiences.
As Kiraoba's home-services network grows, completed cleaning, staging, and handyman jobs can also earn monitored reviews. The aim is to help dependable people and providers build a reputation through work that actually took place.
A mediator, not the landlord.
Kiraoba does not own the listed homes and does not publish landlord submissions automatically. My role is to create a documented, monitored path between the parties. Each party remains responsible for reviewing the final agreement and obtaining independent legal advice when needed.
